Rand Fishkin of SEOmoz.org has created a fantastic Beginner’s guide to SEO and it’s free to download and read. I highly recommend it to all webmasters for a better understanding of the basics.

The free download is incredibly easy to read and understand. One thing you will grow to like about Rand who is the author is that he is more interested in teaching you what you need to know rather than trying to sound smart. Maybe it’s because he knows he’s smart. Anyway, the paper is for all webmasters and is put together in such a way for all to benefit from.
